EnGIS Technologies, Inc. joins the Open Autodrive Forum

Updated: Apr 3, 2019

Seoul, August 1, 2016

EnGIS Technologies, Inc., a leading supplier of software to the automotive industry, announced today its participation in Open Autodrive Forum (OADF).

OADF is the cross-domain platform driving standardizations in the area of autonomous driving. It generates input for standardization and aligns the results towards industry wide acceptance and state-of-the-art solutions.

EnGIS is already a member of Navigation Data Standard (NDS), one of the four consortia to have committed to align their efforts in the domain of autonomous driving. Their aim is to generate a streamlined approach towards a globally applicable eco system of production-ready automotive standards. NDS is a leading world-wide map standard for automotive grade use and a format that EnGIS now supports.

EnGIS actively participates in leading trade organizations and associations such as OADF and NDS so that it can share its considerable knowledge and experience in the areas of navigation, map data and OTA. Such efforts help shape the opportunities of tomorrow and ensure standardization at an industry wide level.

OADF organizes meetings every three months in different continents. Between the meetings, task forces address challenges that have been identified in the meetings. The forum meetings are open to all consortia and individuals that are active in the field of autonomous driving.
